Datatank (site owner) and Aberdeen City Council do not record any data that could identify you, such as your IP address or location.
Once the information is received by the Council it will be held and processed in a digital case management system in accordance with the Council’s Data Protection Procedure and Corporate Retention Policy.
You do not have to supply your personal information when reporting a matter to us. However, if you do so it may be used by the investigation team within the Council to contact you about your concern. You can include your contact details and ask to remain anonymous. Your personal information will not be disclosed to anyone else. The exception to this is when the matter you have reported to us requires to be investigated by another agency (such as the Department for Work and Pensions) or another Council team (such as Trading Standards).
